Terms of Service

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the u2ailegal.com website and of the U2 AI Legal software made available through it. The service is operated by U2 AI Studio Teknoloji A.S. By accessing the site or using the software you accept these terms. The platform is not offered for individual or consumer use; it is intended for legal professionals acting within their professional activity and for legal entities acting within the scope of their own legal affairs. Where a separate written subscription or enterprise agreement is signed between you and U2 AI Studio Teknoloji A.S., that agreement prevails over these terms to the extent of any conflict.

2. Nature and limits of the service

U2 AI Legal is a software product developed by U2 AI Studio Teknoloji A.S.; it is not a law firm and not a consultancy company. Output produced by the platform does not constitute legal advice, attorney services or a legal opinion, and is not intended to predict the outcome of any dispute or to provide a guaranteed result. Under Article 35 of the Attorneys' Act No. 1136, giving opinions on legal questions and preparing all documents belonging to such work are reserved to attorneys registered with a bar association; the platform does not exercise those exclusive powers, does not represent any party in any dispute, does not conduct proceedings before any authority, and forms no attorney-client relationship with any user. The service returns references to legislation and case law together with their citations. Those references, and any draft text the service produces, are unverified working material: the user remains responsible for checking each citation against the official source and for deciding whether it applies. Every text the platform produces is working material prepared for review and approval by a qualified lawyer, and no output is to be treated as final without that review.

3. Informational purpose and illustrative interface images

The content on this site is provided for general information only; it does not constitute legal advice, attorney services or a legal opinion, and it creates no guarantee of any result. U2 AI Legal is under development. The interface images on this site are illustrative and are not screenshots of a shipped product; the records, citations and results shown in them are sample data. Capabilities described on this site are design targets and are not presented as measured performance results. Part of the visual and text content on this site was produced with artificial intelligence. No statement on this site should be read as a representation that any particular feature is available, complete or fit for a particular purpose at a given moment.

4. User responsibility and professional review

You are responsible for verifying every provision, citation, judgment reference and draft text produced by the service against the official source before relying on it or submitting it anywhere. Courts in several jurisdictions have held that the duty to verify artificial-intelligence output rests with the professional who submits it and cannot be transferred to a tool or to another person. Final responsibility for a matter remains with the lawyer or the institution conducting it. You agree not to use the service to carry out, on behalf of others, work reserved to attorneys under the Attorneys' Act No. 1136, and not to present the output of the service as a legal opinion. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the material you submit to the service and for having the right to submit it.

5. Data and confidentiality

Your inputs, your outputs and the documents you upload are not used to train models, and one customer's material is not used to answer another customer's query. In the ordinary case you or your institution act as data controller within the meaning of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, and U2 AI Studio Teknoloji A.S. acts as data processor with respect to this service; purpose, categories of data, retention period and access rights are determined by the data controller. A data processing agreement and, where transfer abroad is involved, the standard contract text published by the Personal Data Protection Board are made available for corporate use. Litigation files routinely contain special categories of personal data under Article 6 of Law No. 6698, and determining the lawful basis for processing them is the data controller's assessment. We make no certification claim of any kind. The duty of secrecy under Article 36 of the Attorneys' Act No. 1136 remains with the attorney and is not assumed by U2 AI Studio Teknoloji A.S.

6. Sources and third-party names

The service works over texts published in publicly accessible official sources, including the Legislation Information System, the Official Gazette and the case-law search services published by the Court of Cassation, the Council of State and UYAP, and over documents that the user is itself licensed to use. Under Article 31 of Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works, the texts of published legislation and judicial decisions may be freely reproduced, distributed and processed. U2 AI Studio Teknoloji A.S. has no data partnership, integration, licence, API agreement or approval relationship with any of these institutions and asserts none. Those portals publish selected decisions accepted as precedent rather than the complete body of case law, and the absence of a precedent in a result set does not mean that no decision exists. Content from third-party commercial legal databases is not ingested into the system absent a written licence with the relevant provider. All product names, logos and trademarks appearing on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

7. Intellectual property

The software, interface, design, source code, documentation, database structure and all other original material forming the U2 AI Legal service are owned by U2 AI Studio Teknoloji A.S. or are used under licence, and are protected under Law No. 5846 and applicable industrial property legislation. Subject to these terms and to any applicable subscription agreement, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own professional activity or your own legal affairs. You may not copy, reproduce, decompile, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or make the service available to third parties as a service of your own, and you may not extract or systematically download the contents of the system in bulk. Documents that you upload remain yours; texts of legislation and judgments retrieved through the service remain subject to Article 31 of Law No. 5846.

8. Limitation of liability and governing law

The service is provided on an as-is basis and, as it is under development, without any warranty as to uninterrupted availability, completeness of coverage, or the accuracy or applicability of any particular result. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, U2 AI Studio Teknoloji A.S. is not liable for loss arising from output used without verification against the official source, from reliance on a provision or judgment without checking its in-force status, or from any decision taken without the review of a qualified lawyer; nor for indirect, consequential or incidental loss, loss of profit or loss of data. Mandatory provisions of Turkish law that cannot be excluded remain reserved. These terms are governed by Turkish law, and the Ankara Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them. We may amend these terms; the current version is published on this page with its effective date, and continued use after publication constitutes acceptance.
